DINING AT: FATTO BAR & CANTINA

Just one look at the views from the riverside terrace and I was hooked. It’s long been a special place to me, the location where Fatto Bar & Cantina resides on the shore of the Yarra River by Melbourne’s Arts Centre is a long treasured memory to me. There’s something so elegant and classic about stepping into this enclave frequented by the post-theatre crowd.

An Italian bar and cantina, Fatto is a leisurely spot for all to pop in for a long lunch, a quick drink or a delicious dinner.

As this was my first dining experience with Fatto, I knew I had to try it all and the Feasting menu of Italo style dining does not disappoint. I have so many favourites but you really can’t go wrong with well-prepared small dishes that pack a punch of flavour and texture.

On the Feasting Menu:

SALUMi -Villani Prosciutto Di Parma 16 month

CHEESE- Stracciatella

Kingfish Tartare, Pancetta, Verde Mayo, Pickles, Sago Cracker

Waygu Carpaccio, Truffle Pesto, Parmesan, Aged Balsamic

Spaghettini, Spanner Crab, Lemon, Chilli

La Tagliata, 300g Sirloin, Mizuna, Parmesan, Balsamic

Chips, House Seasoning, Aioli
